Counting the days
I remember our first grand baby and how we would count the days!
Our daughter spent her time praying for her baby. She spent time decorating the room, buying items, making plans for this baby. She took walks and talked for hours with friends and family about this precious baby. It was a wonderful and loving time for us all.

We have time to pray for God to guide our words and actions.

4 babies saved that we know of!
January 21, 2015 marked the 42nd anniversary of the 1973 Supreme Court decision in Roe v. Wade.
From January 21st -- 24th
I learned of 4 babies being saved from their death
here at the local abortion site in West Ashley.
That's right 4 babies in 4 days!!!
Our friend Melissa talked with a couple on Wednesday the 21st. Melissa shared lots of information with the couple. They chose Life and left promising to go to North Charleston for a visit with LCPC.
Our friends Rick & Edna talked with us
Saturday 21, 2015 and told us his good news.
He had shared with a woman who chose Life for her baby and accepted Jesus as her Lord & Savior! They talked for a while that day. He even has her phone number to offer more encouragement which will included local churches and pregnancy centers!
But God was not finished!!
Another couple talked with Rick and that baby was saved from abortion and the Mom rededicated her life to Jesus!
What a way for God to remind us
that death is NEVER going to win!
and I am so thankful to know you.
I am encouraged every time we meet!

CHARLESTON 2nd MARCH FOR LIFE
On another cold day in January new friends joined with the faithful pro life community to march once more.
Before our marched to the Charleston Women Medical Center where they do around 3,000 abortions each year we prayed. We asked God to let this be the last year that we need to March and to bless us as we try to be a public witness against the evil of abortion.

When the darkness meets the Light
Many of us were raised on Pastors preaching about the transformation of a Soul when the darkness meets the Light. I love more than anything hearing stories about the amazing Grace of God.
On Saturday January 17, 2015 our dear pro life friend Rick was standing in front of the abortion site along with his wife. They were proclaiming the healing power of Gods love and forgiveness. If you have stood outside this abortion site on a Saturday morning you understand the difficulty they were facing.
But Rick & Edna are use to the finger waves and dismissal attitudes from everyone going in & out of the abortion site. They even understand that the woman's face is a reflection of how dark her soul has become.
As Rick watched a woman walking to the blue door he saw her reach for the door knob and stop. She leaned against the wall and dropped her head. As she was facing down, and I believe feeling despair and wishing for help, she heard Rick call out that Jesus loves you and He forgives.
She looked over at Rick and within minutes they were talking. She had given her heart to Jesus some years ago. She shared that while walking along the wall toward the door she realized just how far she had strayed from God. Rick prayed with her.
He shared about the Love Jesus has for all His children. He also gently reminded her that Jesus Loves the little children and babies. By now it was clear to all that she would not be having the abortion.
She shared more of her life as they talked including that she missed Church and wanted to go back. Rick sieged the chance to get her phone number and as God would have it, Rick knew about a Church for her to attend that Sunday!
I pray you have a chance to share God's Love and Forgiveness with someone today.

Up until now I had done all my pro life work
everywhere but in front of an abortion site.
So why is this year so important to me?
Because 5 years ago
I carried my first
hand made sign
to the abortion site.
CHOOSE LIFE
CHOOSE ADOPTION
The pro life folks are wonderful.
The knowledge they have about abortion
and this particular site is both informative and heartbreaking.
