Weekly routines?

Does your weekly routine include
a PRO-LIFE ministry?

I happened to be a woman who lives by a steady and happy routine.

Monday... Do laundry

Tuesday.... Wild Wings for supper

Wednesday.... run errands

Thursday ... pray for families being tore apart by abortion

Friday... morning time praying at the abortion site
and evening “date night” with hubby

Saturday... abortion site praying & sidewalk couseling

Sunday... Mass

Having a routine helps me to feel productive. But it is my involvement in the PRO LIFE movement that helps me feel complete.

40 Days for LIFE will be back
September 25th  -- November 3rd
Join us as we pray in front of the
Charleston Women’s Medical Center
the corner of Fussler & Hwy 61 in West Ashley.

Please pray about adding this ministry to your weekly routine.

May God bless you
and
keep you in His loving care.

Standing up for LIFE!

Can a "rapper" do a song that I would actually like?

So the other day Sarah sent me a link to a video.

She says we should share it with our 40 Days for Life prayer warriors.

To my surprise I opened this!

Raw emotions.   Heartbreaking.   Truth.

The message is clear .... Men regret lost Fatherhood.

The number of the day is 2!

Two women talking in front of the abortion facility.

Two people stop to ask how much the pregnancy test cost.

Two ladies talk on the phone.

2:00pm appointment is made.

Two people decide to stay a family!

A few hours later two friends rejoice over the amazing Love that flows from God.

Monday's are usually not that busy for us in 40 Days for Life.
As we pray and stand outside the abortion facility, we usually see office workers and maybe one or two cars that could be women seeking abortions.

But from 8 till Noon, we witnessed  cars coming and going.  So when a car drove passed the driveway we went back to talking. Only to see that car traveling in reverse right towards us. The man let down his window and asked how much a pregnancy test cost.  My friend told them it is FREE!
I stepped back and listen as they talked.  She called DAZZ around the corner and handed the phone to the woman in the car. They talked for a few minutes.  The appointment was set for 2pm.

Later that day my friend called to say the couple did go to DAZZ and they did chose LIFE!

Please pray for this family as they continue down this road traveling in the right direction!

To Obey or NOT to Obey that is the question

This morning I woke up at 6:30am and I was wide awake. Something was moving in my heart and I knew I had to go and stand outside the abortion site. So I did what all good Christian women do on a cold morning, I waited. I ate breakfast, checked my emails, scroll through Facebook and loaded the washer. Then finally at 7:30 I knew I could not get off the hook. It was time to go!  Because I normally do not wake up so early or feel the need to rush over to the abortion site, I just knew I was in for wonderful blessing.  I just knew a baby would be spared and a Mom's life  changed forever.

When I arrived I recognized a few new pro life friends who were already praying  along with my buddy Laurie.  She & I have become warriors in a Christ center mission that we pray will one day end. We saw ourselves growing old leading Vacation Bible School and singing in the choir. But never standing outside  a blue wooden building as babies were being killed inside.

When the others left Laurie and I starting talking. Sharing ideas we hoped will help us reach more pro life people in our community, discussing our own desires for the women inside and wishing we were bolder or stronger in our message of Love & Mercy.
The wind was  especially rough blowing over our chair by the truck, freezing our toes and messing up my hair!

Each time a woman came outside Laurie would make sure she could read the sign offering a phone number to the local pregnancy center and we each would try to share words of hope. The women would look at us, some would smile, some would look away, but all of them went back inside. And then there was this one young lady, who walked over to us.  She listened for a minute or two, took a card to DAZZ walked back toward the building, make a phone call, waited on a taxi,  waited on another person to come out and get in the taxi and then she left.

Did we touch her life?    Did we plant a seed? Were we the answer to a prayer for anyone this morning?

As others arrived we hugged  bye and thank each other for being there. It was good to have a friend to stand with on this cold windy morning.

Later at lunch, I thought about my morning.  I am sure God lead me to go this morning.  BUT WHY??  Then it hit me...  He was  asking me to do something.   It was that simple.  Would I obey?

No matter how the rest of my day goes... I did one thing right!

How about you?

"We are the last sign of hope for the mother and baby when they arrive." Shawn Carney, Co- Founder of 40 Days for Life

A car with two young ladies pulled into the parking lot of the abortion facility.

John & I were standing there waiting to speak, when the driver of the car open the door, got out and walked right up to John!
They talked for a minute and he gave her a card to DAZZ. As some of you know it is a pro life pregnancy center about ONE BLOCK away from the abortion building.

The young lady got back into the car, pulled out.

From where I stood watching this conversation I could not help but reflect on Shawn's words, we are the LAST SIGN OF HOPE.
And today HOPE was given to this young mother and her unborn baby.

Later John learned they did go to DAZZ!   God bless the women at DAZZ for their faithfulness to this beautiful ministry of Mercy & Love.  God bless the Mother & Baby that were saved today.

Please pray for the young lady and her unborn baby.
